There was a small surprise when twelfth ranked MAFC (2-6) beat 10th ranked Jaszberenyi (3-6) in Budapest 91-87. MAFC made 19-of-22 charity shots (86.4 percent) during the game. 27 personal fouls committed by Jaszberenyi helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was guard Zsolt Lakosa (194-91, college: MidAmerica Naz.) who had a double-double by scoring 22 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists. American guard Parrish Brown (185-84, college: Maryland) chipped in 26 points and 6 assists. Four MAFC players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was Serbian center Rastko Dramicanin (208-86, agency: Beo Basket) who recorded a double-double by scoring 23 points and 11 rebounds and the former international swingman Akos Horvath (194-81) added 21 points and 5 assists respectively. MAFC moved-up to eleventh place. Jaszberenyi at the other side keeps the tenth position with six games lost. MAFC's next round opponent will be Kormend (#12) on the road.
