Not a big story in a game when 16th ranked MBA Moscow (1-9) was defeated on the road by fourteenth ranked Izhevsk (3-7) 78-68 on Saturday. Power forward Aleksey Tsvetkov (207-84) scored 15 points and 6 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners and swingman Vladislav Lotarev (191-88) chipped in 7 points and 8 assists during the contest. Four Izhevsk players scored in double figures. Forward Andrey Petukhov (207-86) responded with 18 points and 8 rebounds and Valery Ershkov (198-92) scored 7 points and 6 rebounds. MBA Moscow's coach Valeri Sizov let to play ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Izhevsk moved-up to thirteenth place, which they share with Irkutsk. MBA Moscow at the other side, also newcomer in the league, stay at the bottom position with nine games lost. Izhevsk will face higher ranked Universitet-Yugra (#9) in Surgut in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. MBA Moscow will play on the road against the league's leader Parma (#1) and will have a slim chance for a victory.
