An interesting game for MKB Euroleasing (7-0) which played road game in Gyor against 4th ranked UNI Gyor (5-2). Top-ranked MKB Euroleasing managed to get a 12-point victory 86-74. It looked good early as UNI Gyor took an 1-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then MKB Euroleasing had a 22-17 second period charge getting the lead and UNI Gyor was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 74-86. MKB Euroleasing made 16-of-20 charity shots (80.0 percent) during the game. Strangely UNI Gyor outrebounded MKB Euroleasing 43-27 including 29 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Kayla McBride (180-92, college: Notre Dame) who helped to win the game recording 21 points and 6 rebounds and the other American import guard Bria Hartley (173-92, college: Connecticut) who added 20 points during the contest. MKB Euroleasing's coach Igor Polenek allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. The former international power forward Anna Vajda (191-84, agency: Josep and Nicolas) responded with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 13 rebounds and Serbian point guard Tamara Radocaj (170-87, agency: Interperformances) scored 23 points and 5 rebounds. MKB Euroleasing have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 7-0 record. UNI Gyor at the other side keeps the fourth place with two games lost. They share the position with Miskolc. MKB Euroleasing will play against Miskolc (#4) at home in the next round. UNI Gyor will play against the league's second-placed PINKK-Pecsi and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
