Regular Season Round 14: Dynamo-MGTU - Stary Sobol NT 86-81

Very expected game when 8th ranked Stary Sobol NT (4-10) lost to third ranked Dynamo-MGTU (10-4) in Maykop 81-86 on Saturday. However just five-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Point guard Artem Gaposhin (185-91) orchestrated the victory by scoring 30 points and 4 assists (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line). Ukrainian forward Ilya Korotkov (197-85) contributed with 22 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Power forward Aleksey Vagner (204-83) replied with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 10 rebounds and guard Aleksey Makarov (191-92) added 20 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists in the effort for Stary Sobol NT. Four Stary Sobol NT players scored in double figures. Stary Sobol NT's coach Stanislav Istomin rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Dynamo-MGTU moved-up to second place in League. Loser Stary Sobol NT keeps the eighth position with ten games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
