Very predictable result in Magnitogorsk where second ranked Stroitiel Engels (13-3) defeated 10th ranked Magnitka-Univ. (2-14) 75-59 on Wednesday. Stroitiel Engels dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Magnitka-Univ.'s 22. Stroitiel Engels forced 24 Magnitka-Univ. turnovers. It was a great evening for forward Aleksandr Podosinnikov (200-85) who led his team to a victory scoring 14 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. Guard Anton Kobylinskiy (195-94) helped adding 19 points. At the losing side Pavel Popov responded with 12 points and 6 rebounds and center Sergei Dubinin (206-85) scored 11 points and 5 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Stroitiel Engels maintains second place in League with 13-3 record behind leader Sojuz Zaretchny. Newly promoted Magnitka-Univ. keeps the tenth position with 14 games lost. Stroitiel Engels will face league's leader Cheliabinsk on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Magnitka-Univ. will play against Samara-2 (#5) and hope to win that game.
