The game between Top Four teams took place in Saransk. Third ranked host Ruskon-Mordovia (12-4) defeated 4th placed Dynamo-MGTU (10-6) 78-63. They outrebounded Dynamo-MGTU 37-16 including a 23-9 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great evening for forward Roman Semerninov (200-81) who led his team to a victory scoring 23 points, 5 assists and 4 steals. Guard Dmitriy Zagnoyko (192-85) helped adding 13 points and 6 rebounds. Four Ruskon-Mordovia players scored in double figures. At the losing side Ukrainian forward Ilya Korotkov (197-85) responded with 16 points and point guard Artem Gaposhin (185-91) scored 16 points. Ruskon-Mordovia maintains third place in League with 12-4 record having just two points less than leader Sojuz Zaretchny. Dynamo-MGTU at the other side keeps the fourth position with six games lost. Ruskon-Mordovia are looking forward to face Tegas DR (#9) in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Dynamo-MGTU will play against Cheboksari (#7) and is hoping to prove to their supporters that the loss was just an accident.
