A Division top team - Sopron KC (12-1) managed to deliver another win on Saturday. This time they beat eighth ranked Szedeak (6-7) in Szeged 84-73. The guests trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 2-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 84-73. It was a good game for Montenegrin swingman Milos Borisov (198-85, agency: Laszlo Vinko Group) who led his team to a victory with 24 points and 4 assists. Croatian center Matija Poscic (206-85, college: De Paul) contributed with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 11 rebounds (perfect from the field making all six shots) for the winners. Poscic is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Serbian center Darko Balaban (211-89) answered with a double-double by scoring 32 points and 14 rebounds and Serbian point guard Branko Jereminov (187-87) added 9 points and 9 assists in the effort for Szedeak. Sopron KC have an impressive series of eight victories in a row. They maintain first place with 12-1 record. Szedeak at the other side dropped to the sixth position with seven games lost. They share it with Alba and PVSK Pannon. Sopron KC are looking forward to face Atomeromu (#3) in Paks in the next round, which may be the game of the day.
