Rather expected game when 7th ranked Vologda-Chevakata (3-7) was defeated on the road by fifth ranked Spartak Vidnoye (6-4) 76-66. Spartak Vidnoye outrebounded Vologda-Chevakata 38-20 including 23 on the defensive glass. Belgian center Emma Meesseman (192-93, agency: LBM Management) notched a double-double by scoring 20 points and 12 rebounds to lead the effort and Slovenian point guard Nika Baric (169-92) supported her with 22 points and 4 assists. Even 15 points by swingman Olesya Sedletskaya (176-93) did not help to save the game for Vologda-Chevakata. The former international center Anastasia Logunova (192-90, agency: LBM Management) added 11 points for lost side. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Spartak Vidnoye have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to fourth place. Vologda-Chevakata at the other side keeps the seventh position with seven games lost. Spartak Vidnoye will play against Dynamo Moscow (#5) at home in the next round. Vologda-Chevakata will play against Dynamo Kursk and hopes to get back on the winning track.
