Not a big story in a game when 8th ranked Szedeak (6-8) was defeated on the road by fifth ranked Kaposvari (9-5) 90-77 on Wednesday. The game was mostly controlled by Kaposvari. Szedeak managed to win fourth quarter 21-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Szedeak 41-24 including 29 on the defensive glass. Kaposvari looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. American Nikolas Raivio (193-86, college: Portland) fired 22 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. The former international power forward Roland Hendlein (204-86) chipped in a double-double by scoring 12 points, 15 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Kaposvari players scored in double figures. Kaposvari's coach Adam Fekete used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Serbian center Darko Balaban (211-89) produced a double-double by scoring 28 points and 10 rebounds (on 13-of-15 shooting from the field) and Serbian guard Andrija Ciric (199-80, agency: BeoExcell) added 29 points respectively for lost side. Kaposvari maintains fifth position with 9-5 record. Szedeak lost third consecutive game. They keep the eighth place with eight games lost. Kaposvari will meet league's leader Atomeromu in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Szedeak will have a break next round.
