No shocking result in a game in Paks where first ranked Atomeromu (13-2) smashed 5th ranked Kaposvari (9-6) 93-71 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Atomeromu. Kaposvari was better in third quarter 24-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Atomeromu dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Kaposvari's 30. They outrebounded Kaposvari 38-26 including 27 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was naturalized American power forward Jarrod Jones (205-90, college: Ball St.) who scored 23 points and 8 rebounds. American swingman Ryan Evans (203-90, college: Wisconsin) chipped in 19 points and 7 rebounds. American point guard Branden Frazier (190-92, college: Fordham) produced 22 points and the other American import Nikolas Raivio (193-86, college: Portland) added 14 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists respectively for the guests. Four Kaposvari players scored in double figures. Kaposvari's coach Adam Fekete gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Atomeromu have an impressive series of six victories in a row. They maintain first place with 13-2 record, which they share with Sopron KC. Loser Kaposvari keeps the fifth position with six games lost. Atomeromu will have a break next round. Kaposvari will play at home against KTE-Duna Aszfalt (#3) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
