There was no surprise in Omsk where 9th ranked BK 1716 (5-15) was outplayed by fifth ranked Dynamo-YUZGU (10-10) 97-75 on Sunday. Roman Shapovalov (200-87) had a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and forward Aleksey Samokhin (196-83) chipped in 13 points and 10 rebounds during the contest. Five Dynamo-YUZGU players scored in double figures. At the losing side forward Sergei Kharitonov (204-91) responded with 20 points and 7 rebounds and forward Anton Borisov (197-91) scored 19 points and 8 rebounds. BK 1716's coach Dmitriy Tarakanov gave up on the game allowing to play twelve players seeing no chance for a win. Dynamo-YUZGU moved-up to fourth place in League. Loser BK 1716 keeps the ninth position with 15 games lost. Dynamo-YUZGU will face Neftekhimik T. (#8) in Tobolsk in the next round. BK 1716 will play at home against Sogdiana-Skif and hope to win that game.
