The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Atomeromu as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Atomeromu smashed 12th ranked MAFC in Paks 91-57. The game without a history. Atomeromu led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to MAFC's 24. Atomeromu forced 24 MAFC turnovers. It was a great evening for American swingman Ryan Evans (203-90, college: Wisconsin) who led his team to a victory scoring 16 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. International power forward Janos Eilingsfeld (198-91, agency: Laszlo Vinko Group) helped adding 16 points and 9 rebounds. Five Atomeromu players scored in double figures. At the losing side Greek center Stavros Toutziarakis (210-87, agency: Octagon Europe) responded with 23 points and 5 rebounds and American forward Neiko Hunter (201-90, college: Middle Tenn.St., agency: Pro Partner Sports Management) produced a double-double by scoring 11 points, 13 rebounds and 5 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Atomeromu (14-2) have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. MAFC lost sixth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the twelfth place with 13 games lost. MAFC will play next round against strong KTE-Duna Aszfalt trying to get back on the winning streak. Atomeromu will try to continue on its current victory against seventh ranked Szedeak in Szeged.
