Tenth-ranked Jaszberenyi (5-13) made lots of trouble for second ranked Sopron KC (15-3) on Saturday. The visitors from Sopron managed to secure only six-point victory 86-80. However their fans expected much easier game. The guests trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 4-point lead at the halftime then Jaszberenyi managed to tie the game at the end of regular time. Sopron KC maintains second position with 15-3 record having just -1 point less than leader Atomeromu. Jaszberenyi lost fifth consecutive game. They dropped to the eleventh place with 13 games lost. Sopron KC will face bottom-ranked ZTE KK (#13) in Zalaegerszeg in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Jaszberenyi will play on the road against Kaposvari and hope to win that game.
