Regular Season Round 14: Atomeromu - UNIQA Eurol. 66-94

A Division top team - MKB Euroleasing (13-0) had no problems winning another game on Sunday. This time they crushed eighth ranked Atomeromu (3-9) in Szekszard 94-66. MKB Euroleasing made 22-of-26 free shots (84.6 percent) during the game, while Atomeromu only scored six points from the stripe. American guard Kayla McBride (180-92, college: Notre Dame) notched 17 points and 6 rebounds to lead the effort and naturalized Serbian center Sara Krnjic (191-91) supported her with 14 points. Four MKB Euroleasing players scored in double figures. Even 13 points and 7 rebounds by Serbian center Biljana Stjepanovic (189-87, agency: Josep and Nicolas) did not help to save the game for Atomeromu. Swingman Alexandra Theodorean (177-91) added 12 points and 4 assists for the hosts. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. MKB Euroleasing have an impressive 13-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 13-0 record. Atomeromu lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the eighth place with nine games lost. MKB Euroleasing will meet at home PEAC-Pecs (#5) in the next round. Atomeromu will play against Cegledi EKK and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
