Everything went according to plan when second ranked Sopron KC (16-3) defeated at home bottom-ranked ZTE KK (2-17) 90-72. The game was mostly controlled by Sopron KC. ZTE KK was better in fourth quarter 17-13. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Croatian center Matija Poscic (206-85, college: De Paul) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 11 rebounds for the winners and Montenegrin swingman Milos Borisov (198-85, agency: Laszlo Vinko Group) chipped in 19 points and 5 rebounds. Poscic is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Five Sopron KC players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Serbian power forward Darko Cohadarevic (206-86, college: Texas Tech, agency: Octagon Europe) with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 12 rebounds and Serbian guard Rade Dzambic (188-80, college: NYIT) scored 18 points. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Sopron KC maintains second place with 16-3 record having just -1 point less than leader Atomeromu. ZTE KK lost their fourth game in a row. They stay at the bottom position with 17 games lost. Sopron KC will play against Kormend (#9) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. ZTE KK will play against Kaposvari (#6) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
