Regular Season Round 25: Dynamo-MGTU - Musson 84-81

Seventh-ranked Musson (9-14) gave a tough game to fourth ranked Dynamo-MGTU (13-10) in Maykop. Dynamo-MGTU managed to secure only three-point victory 84-81. However their fans expected easier game. It was a great shooting night for Dynamo-MGTU especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 61.5 percentage. Musson was plagued by 28 personal fouls down the stretch. Ukrainian forward Ilya Korotkov (197-85) nailed 23 points and 6 rebounds for the winning side and point guard Artem Gaposhin (185-91) accounted for 19 points and 6 assists. Guard Alexander Matveev (190-91) came up with 23 points and guard Alexei Marchenko (191-87) added 14 points and 4 assists respectively for Musson in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Dynamo-MGTU maintains fourth place in League with 13-10 record. Musson at the other side keeps the seventh position with 14 games lost. Dynamo-MGTU will again play against Musson (#7) in Sevastopol in the next round. Musson will have a break next round.
