Rather expected game in Moscow where 8th ranked Neftyanik (9-15) was defeated by fifth ranked MBA-Dynamo (13-13) 66-56 on Wednesday. MBA-Dynamo forced 26 Neftyanik turnovers. Ekaterina Sytnyak (184-82, agency: LBM Management) fired 13 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Anna Leshovceva (182-87) chipped in 13 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. Four MBA-Dynamo players scored in double figures. Swingman Yana Matveeva (186-92) produced 10 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists and forward Elena Fedotova (186-90) added 11 points and 5 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. MBA-Dynamo moved-up to fourth place. Neftyanik lost third consecutive game. They keep the eighth position with 15 games lost. MBA-Dynamo will meet at home bottom-ranked Irtysh (#10) in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Neftyanik will play against the league's second-placed Ladoga SP in St.Petersburg and hope to secure a win.
