Very expected game when 14th ranked Izhevsk (5-15) was defeated at home by sixth ranked TEMP-SUMZ Revda (12-7) 81-71. TEMP-SUMZ Revda outrebounded Izhevsk 43-30 including 16 on the offensive glass. It was a good game for Lithuanian center Martynas Andriuskevicius (218-86, agency: Interperformances) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds. Swingman Dmitriy Kachanko (200-86) contributed with 15 points for the winners. Forward Roman Khamitov (199-84) replied with 18 points and 9 rebounds and swingman Vladislav Lotarev (191-88) added 15 points and 5 assists in the effort for Izhevsk. Five Izhevsk players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. TEMP-SUMZ Revda moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Novosybirsk and Spartak-Prim. Newly promoted Izhevsk keeps the fourteenth position with 15 games lost. TEMP-SUMZ Revda will play against league's leader Parma in Perm in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Izhevsk will play at home against the league's second-placed Ural Ekaterinburg (#2) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
