Regular Season Round 16: Sparta&K MR - Dynamo K. 63-74

The game between Top Four teams took place in Vidnoye. One of their biggest challengers host Spartak Vidnoye (9-7) lost to third ranked Dynamo Kursk (12-3) 74-63. Worth to mention a great performance of Nigerian-American power forward Nnemkadi Ogwumike (189-90, college: Stanford) who helped to win the game recording 25 points and 8 rebounds and American Seimone Augustus (183-84, college: LSU) who added 19 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side Belgian center Emma Meesseman (192-93, agency: LBM Management) responded with 20 points and 6 rebounds and Slovenian point guard Nika Baric (169-92) scored 10 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Four Spartak Vidnoye players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Dynamo Kursk have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 12-3 record having five points less than leader UMMC. Spartak Vidnoye at the other side keeps the fourth place with seven games lost. Dynamo Kursk are looking forward to face league's leader UMMC Ekaterinburg at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Spartak Vidnoye will play against Spartak Noginsk and is hoping to prove to their fans that this time they can win.
