Rather expected game when 6th ranked Dynamo Moscow (13-9) was defeated on the road by fourth ranked Samara-SGEU (15-7) 94-82 on Wednesday. The best player for the winners was center Alexey Kurtsevich (210-89) who scored 18 points and 9 rebounds (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line). Guard Vladimir Pichkurov (193-90, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) chipped in 20 points and 4 assists. Four Samara-SGEU players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was point guard Denis Zakharov (193-93, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) who recorded 17 points and Vladislav Trushkin (201-93) added 6 points and 8 rebounds respectively.
