Regular Season Round 33: Stary Sobol NT - Dynamo-MGTU 62-77

There was no surprise in Nizhny Tagil where 8th ranked Stary Sobol NT (8-24) was defeated by fourth ranked Dynamo-MGTU (19-11) 77-62 on Saturday. Dynamo-MGTU outrebounded Stary Sobol NT 39-20 including a 29-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great shooting night for Dynamo-MGTU especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 55.6 percentage. The best player for the winners was Ukrainian center Nikolay Eremin (206-85) who had a double-double by scoring 16 points and 14 rebounds. Ukrainian forward Ilya Korotkov (197-85) chipped in 19 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). At the other side the best for losing team was power forward Aleksey Vagner (204-83) who recorded 12 points and 6 rebounds and forward Ilya Aginskikh (203-94) added 13 points and 4 steals respectively. Four Stary Sobol NT players scored in double figures. Dynamo-MGTU maintains fourth place in League with 19-11 record. Loser Stary Sobol NT keeps the eighth position with 24 games lost. Dynamo-MGTU will have a break next round. Stary Sobol NT will play against Tegas DR (#10) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
