The most surprising game was a loss of top-ranked Atomeromu (18-4) on the court of tenth ranked Jaszberenyi on Saturday night. Visitors were defeated by Jaszberenyi 90-86. They made 17-of-18 free shots (94.4 percent) during the game. The former international swingman Akos Horvath (194-81) stepped up and scored 22 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists for the winners and American point guard Dustin Ware (183-90, college: Georgia) chipped in 20 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists (made all of his eight free throws). At the losing side American point guard Henry Dugat (183-87, college: Baylor) responded with 25 points (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) and naturalized American power forward Jarrod Jones (205-90, college: Ball St.) scored 12 points and 7 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Atomeromu's coach Branislav Dzunic rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Jaszberenyi maintains tenth place with 7-15 record, which they share with Marso NYKK. Atomeromu at the other side still keeps top position with four games lost. Jaszberenyi is looking forward to face higher ranked KTE-Duna Aszfalt (#3) in Kecskemet in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Atomeromu will play at home against ZTE KK and is hoping to win this game.
