An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Kursk. Third ranked Sogdiana-Skif faced one of their biggest challengers Dynamo-YUZGU. Guests from Voronezh (21-11) defeated host Dynamo-YUZGU (18-14) 86-75. It was a great shooting night for Sogdiana-Skif especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 55.0 percentage. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Kirill Baklenev (184-88) who helped to win the game recording 30 points, 5 assists and 4 steals and center Yuriy Kochnev (209-89) who added 14 points and 12 rebounds during the contest. Four Sogdiana-Skif players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was forward Aleksey Samokhin (196-83) with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 10 rebounds and guard Ilya Chernov (188-89) scored 15 points. Dynamo-YUZGU's coach Vasili Gretsov rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Sogdiana-Skif maintains third position with 21-11 record having five points less than leader Cheliabinsk. Loser Dynamo-YUZGU keeps the fourth place with 14 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
