Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both fourth ranked Neuchatel and 5th ranked Starwings had identical 1-2 record. This time Neuchatel used a home court advantage and beat the opponent from Basel 92-80. Starwings were tied at the half but could not keep up in last two quarters eventually losing the game. The winners were led by Senegalese power forward Babacar Toure (205-85) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 22 points and 16 rebounds and Serbian forward Ivan Kuburovic (202-81) supported him with 21 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists. Even a double-double of 23 points and 14 rebounds by American forward A.J. Pacher (208-92, college: Wright St.) did not help to save the game for Starwings. His fellow American import guard Kaylon Williams (190-89, college: Wisc.-Milwaukee) added 17 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Neuchatel (2-2) moved-up to third place, which they share with Fribourg. Starwings lost third consecutive game. They keep the fifth position with three games lost. Neuchatel will play against Fribourg (#3) on the road in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Starwings will play against the league's second-placed Geneve Lions to get more than just one victory in their record.
