No shocking result in a game when twelfth ranked AltajBasket (11-15) beat 15th ranked MBA Moscow (3-23) in Barnau 104-90. AltajBasket made 28-of-32 charity shots (87.5 percent) during the game. They also forced 24 MBA Moscow turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. MBA Moscow was plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. Swingman Vladimir Shevel (200-84, agency: Alti Sport) scored 24 points (was perfect 11-for-11 from the free throw line !!!) to lead the charge for the winners and Lithuanian point guard Linas Lekavicius (186-84, college: American) chipped in 16 points, 5 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 steals during the contest. AltajBasket's coach Evgeni Chizhov allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Center Sergei Krasavtsev (208-82) responded with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 13 rebounds and power forward Alexander Tikhonin (205-92) scored 16 points and 5 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. AltajBasket maintains twelfth position with 11-15 record. MBA Moscow lost eighth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the fifteenth place with 23 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
