The game between second ranked BC Rostov (24-12) and eighth ranked Gloria Moscow (16-19) was the most important one in the last round on Tuesday night. BC Rostov was defeated by Gloria Moscow in a tough game in Moscow 66-73. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of BC Rostov. Gloria Moscow dominated down low during the game scoring 44 of its points in the paint compared to BC Rostov's 20. Gloria Moscow forced 21 BC Rostov turnovers and outrebounded BC Rostov 52-38 including 21 on the offensive glass. 29 personal fouls committed by BC Rostov helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was center Ekatrina Kuzmenkova (189-88) who had a double-double by scoring 14 points and 11 rebounds. Center Ekaterina Troshina (195-81) chipped in 7 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Maria Kaytukova (173-92) who recorded 34 points (!!!) and 4 assists and international guard Alexandra Stolyar (179-92) added 12 points respectively.
