There was no surprise in Magnitogorsk where 9th ranked Magnitka-Univ. (7-29) was defeated by seventh ranked Musson (15-20) 95-89 on Wednesday. Musson looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was guard Alexei Marchenko (191-87) who scored 26 points and 5 assists. Guard Aleksey Almushev (198-90) chipped in 16 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). At the other side the best for losing team was Ivan Dudnik who recorded 22 points and 5 rebounds and Daniil Aksenov added 19 points respectively. Five Musson and four Magnitka-Univ. players scored in double figures. Musson maintains seventh position in League with 15-20 record. Newly promoted Magnitka-Univ. keeps the ninth place with 29 games lost.
