Second Stage Round 4: Sopron KC - Szolnok 81-76

The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of undefeated Szolnok (3-1) on the court of third ranked Sopron KC on Wednesday night. Visitors were defeated by Sopron KC 81-76. It may be a crucial game in the contest for the top position in Division. The hosts were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. Worth to mention a great performance of Montenegrin swingman Milos Borisov (198-85, agency: Laszlo Vinko Group) who helped to win the game recording 20 points and 5 rebounds and American guard Mario Edwards (191-88, college: Co.Carolina, agency: Mansfield and Associates) who added 17 points and 5 assists during the contest. Five Sopron KC players scored in double figures. At the losing side American point guard Lazeric Jones (182-90, college: UCLA) responded with 17 points and international swingman David Vojvoda (196-90, agency: Laszlo Vinko Group) scored 16 points. Sopron KC (2-1) moved-up to second place in Division. Defending champion Szolnok still keeps top position with one game lost. Sopron KC are looking forward to face Kaposvari (#5) on the road in the next round. Szolnok will have a break next round.
