The most crucial game of the last round was another loss of top-ranked Lugano Tigers (5-2) at the home court on Saturday night. Hosts were edged by fourth ranked Starwings (4-3) 79-77. Lugano Tigers were tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. Americans were the main players on the court. Starwings are looking forward to face Fribourg (#4) at home in the next round. Lugano Tigers will play against the league's second-placed Geneve Lions and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
