A very interesting game took place in Zalaegerszeg. It ended with only three-point home defeat of 14th ranked ZTE KK (4-23) to thirteenth ranked MAFC (5-21) 87-84 in the fight for the thirteenth place. ZTE KK was ahead by 2 points after three quarters before a 28-23 charge of MAFC, which allowed them to win the game. They made 23-of-27 charity shots (85.2 percent) during the game. MAFC's next round opponent will be higher ranked Marso NYKK (#12) in Nyiregyhazi and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. ZTE KK will play at home against Marso NYKK and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
