The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Kaposvari as it allowed them to take a leadership position in Division. Kaposvari defeated one of their biggest challengers Szolnok at home 99-88. It was a key game for the top position in Division. Kaposvari made 21-of-26 free shots (80.8 percent) during the game. 26 personal fouls committed by Szolnok helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities.
