Important game to mention about took place in Samara. Fifth ranked TEMP-SUMZ Revda (19-10) saved a 3-point victory on the road edging much higher ranked Samara-SGEU (20-9) 68-65 on Friday evening. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Samara-SGEU. Worth to mention a great performance of Lithuanian center Martynas Andriuskevicius (218-86, agency: Interperformances) who helped to win the game recording 7 points and 15 rebounds. Power forward Sergey Toropov (206-89) contributed with 12 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Guard Vladimir Pichkurov (193-90, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) answered with 13 points and 6 rebounds and power forward Andrey Kirdyachkin (207-90) added 13 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Samara-SGEU. Four Samara-SGEU players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. TEMP-SUMZ Revda maintains fifth place with 19-10 record. Samara-SGEU at the other side still keeps top position with nine games lost. They share it with 3 other teams. TEMP-SUMZ Revda will play against Rossiya Novog. (#10) in Novogorsk in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game.
