UMMC clinched the EuroLeague Final birth. They edged Dynamo Kursk in the first semifinal in Prague today. Gruda was dominant with 20 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. It was all about the Ekaterinburg team from the start. UMMC jumped to a 26:13 lead after the opening quarter. They stayed in charge throughout the second frame. UMMC piled up a comfortable 46:22 halftime advantage. Dynamo Kursk tried to revive the intrigue after the big break. They sank 27 points to cut the distance at 13-point mark. But UMMC kept their opponents at safe distance throughout the fourth period cruising to the victory. Candace Parker finished with 15 points and 15 rebounds, while Toliver added 14 points for the winners. Alben responded with 16 points for Dynamo Kursk. Ogwumike and Augustus connected for 13 points each in the loss.
