Atomeromu smashed Kaposvari in Paks 91-48. The hosts trailed by 8 points after first quarter, but they stormed back and won the game by 43 points. Atomeromu dominated on the defensive end, holding Kaposvari to just 4 points in third quarter and to 11 points in second half. Atomeromu dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Kaposvari's 30 and made 17-of-21 free shots (81.0 percent) during the game. Serbian center Marko Spica (205-86, college: Cent.Michigan, agency: Pro Partner Sports Management) answered with 9 points and 8 rebounds and American guard Anthony Jones (191-84, college: Indiana Tech) added 7 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Kaposvari. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Kaposvari will play next round against strong Marso NYKK trying to get on the winning streak. Atomeromu will try to continue on its current victory against PVSK Pannon in Pecs.
