Regular Season Round 2: Kormend - Alba 77-76

Important game to mention about took place in Kormend. Kormend (2-0) saved a 1-point victory at home edging Alba (0-2) 77-76 on Wednesday evening. Host team only slightly avoided a big embarassment. Alba cut a 13-point halftime deficit to one at the end of the game. Americans were the main players on the court. Point guard Kendrick Perry (183-92, college: Youngstown St.) notched 21 points and 7 rebounds to lead the effort and point guard Wesley Channels (190-88, college: Austin Peay St.) supported him with 13 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Even a double-double of 22 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists by forward Tristan Spurlock (203-91, college: Cent.Florida) did not help to save the game for Alba. Guard Anthony Myles (196-92, college: Rider) added 19 points and 5 rebounds for the guests. Kormend will play against KTE-Duna Aszfalt in Kecskemet in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Alba will play at home against MAFC to get more than just one victory in their record.
