A very close game took place in Ekaterinburg between Samara-SGEU and Ural Ekaterinburg. Samara-SGEU (1-0) got a very close victory on the road over Ural Ekaterinburg (0-1). Samara-SGEU managed to escape with a 3-point win 63-60 on Sunday evening. Power forward Maxim Krivosheev (207-88) fired a double-double by scoring 22 points and 10 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) for the winners. Guard Maksim Kiryanov (190-90) chipped in 13 points and 4 steals. Samara-SGEU's coach Sergei Zozulin used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Artem Komolov (194-93) produced 14 points and center Daniil Solovev (210-87) added 11 points and 8 rebounds respectively for lost side. Samara-SGEU will meet TEMP-SUMZ Revda on the road in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Ural Ekaterinburg will play against Khimky-Podmoskoye and hope to win that game.
