Regular Season Round 4: Sopron KC - Szedeak 67-51

Worth to mention about the upset in a game between Szedeak (1-3) and Sopron KC (2-2), which took place in Sopron. 8th ranked Szedeak lost to eleventh ranked Sopron KC in a road game 51-67 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Sopron KC. Szedeak was better in fourth quarter 14-13. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Sopron KC forced 23 Szedeak turnovers. It was a very good performance for Croatian guard Damir Rancic (199-83, agency: XL Basketball Agency) who helped to win the game recording 14 points. Sopron KC's coach Balazs Sabali used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. American power forward Ryan Watkins (206-91, college: Boise St., agency: Pro Partner Sports Management) replied with 16 points and 9 rebounds and his fellow American import guard Chip Armelin (193-90, college: S.Mississippi) added 12 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Szedeak. Sopron KC moved-up to fifth place, which they share with 4 other teams. Loser Szedeak dropped to the tenth position with three games lost. Sopron KC will face league's leader Kormend on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Szedeak will play against Atomeromu (#3) in Paks and hope to win that game.
