Superleague top team - Dynamo-2 K. (7-1) had no problems winning another game. This time they beat sixth ranked BC Rostov (2-4) in Kursk 68-51. Dynamo-2 K. forced 30 BC Rostov turnovers. They brought some defensive toughness making 8 blocks. The winners were led by center Anna Shchetina (195-90) who scored that evening 14 points and 5 rebounds and point guard Anna Burovaya (172-97) supported her with 9 points and 5 assists. Even 14 points by forward Anastasia Maksimova (182-92, agency: IPSA) did not help to save the game for BC Rostov. Forward Yana Kotova (186-88) added 13 points and 5 rebounds for the guests. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Dynamo-2 K. have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 7-1 record. BC Rostov at the other side keeps the sixth place with four games lost. They share the position with Stavropol. Dynamo-2 K. will play against UMMC Junior (#4) in Ekaterinburg in the next round. BC Rostov will play at home against Samara and hopes to get back on the winning track.
