The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Dynamo Kursk as it allowed them to take a leadership position after previous leader's (Vologda-Chevakata) loss. Dynamo Kursk defeated 5th ranked Spartak Vidnoye at home 65-61. Dynamo Kursk made 20-of-24 charity shots (83.3 percent) during the game, while Spartak Vidnoye only scored two points from the stripe. Worth to mention a great performance of Nigerian-American power forward Nnemkadi Ogwumike (189-90, college: Stanford) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 29 points and 16 rebounds and French Nwal-Endene Miyem (188-88, agency: Comsport) who added 14 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side Belgian center Emma Meesseman (192-93, agency: LBM Management) responded with 13 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists and power forward Raisa Musina (191-98) scored 15 points and 7 rebounds. Spartak Vidnoye's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Dynamo Kursk have a solid four-game winning streak. As mentioned above they are at the top of the standings, which they share with UMMC and Nadezhda O. Spartak Vidnoye at the other side keeps the fifth place with two games lost. They share the position with Enisey and MBA. Spartak Vidnoye will play next round against Kazanochka trying to get back on the winning streak. Dynamo Kursk will try to continue on its current victory against second ranked Nadezhda Orenburg at home.
