The game in Budapest supposed to be also quite interesting. Leader UNI Gyor (5-0) played at the court of 8th ranked Vasas Akademia (1-4). UNI Gyor did not have too big problems ending evening with a very confident victory 86-68 on Saturday. The game without a history. UNI Gyor led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Vasas Akademia's 34. They outrebounded Vasas Akademia 37-25 including 25 on the defensive glass. UNI Gyor looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Vasas Akademia was plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. American forward Cyesha Goree (190-93, college: Michigan, agency: Interperformances) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 12 rebounds for the winners and Lithuanian Monika Grigalauskyte (190-92) chipped in 19 points and 10 rebounds. Five UNI Gyor players scored in double figures. Forward Lilla Adamecz (182-92) responded with 17 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists and Polish guard Katarzyna Cymmer (172-89) scored 9 points and 7 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for UNI Gyor. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Cegledi EKK. Loser Vasas Akademia keeps the eighth place with four games lost. UNI Gyor will face Miskolc (#5) at home in the next round. Vasas Akademia will play against the league's leader Cegledi EKK and hope to win that game.
