Regular Season Round 9: UMMC Junior - Dynamo-2 K. 63-60

Top ranked Dynamo-2 K. (7-2) recorded its second loss in Ekaterinburg on Monday night. Visitors were edged by fourth ranked UMMC Junior (5-2) 63-60. It ended at the same time the seven-game winning streak of Dynamo-2 K.. UMMC Junior forced 24 Dynamo-2 K. turnovers. The best player for the winners was point guard Elizaveta Komarova (172-95, agency: LBM Management) who scored 12 points and 4 assists. Forward Anastasia Tochilova (174-93) chipped in 13 points. At the other side the best for losing team was center Anna Shchetina (195-90) who recorded a double-double by scoring 13 points and 11 rebounds and international swingman Alexandra Stolyar (180-92) added 14 points respectively. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. UMMC Junior have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to third place. Dynamo-2 K. at the other side still keeps top position with two games lost. UMMC Junior are again looking forward to face league's leader Dynamo-2 K. in Kursk in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Dynamo-2 K. will have a break next round.
