There was a surprise result when ninth ranked KTE-Duna Aszfalt (3-4) won against much higher ranked Atomeromu (5-2) in Kecskemet 79-68 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 7 points at the halftime before their 44-26 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Worth to mention a great performance of naturalized Serbian forward Tomislav Ivosev (204-90) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds. Serbian swingman Marko Djerasimovic (198-84, agency: BeoExcell) contributed with 17 points for the winners. International power forward Adam Toth (206-89) answered with 20 points and 5 rebounds and international power forward Janos Eilingsfeld (198-91) added 11 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Atomeromu. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. KTE-Duna Aszfalt moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Kaposvari. Atomeromu at the other side dropped to the third position with two games lost. KTE-Duna Aszfalt will face Marso NYKK (#11) in Nyiregyhazi in the next round. Atomeromu will play at home against Jaszberenyi (#13) and hope to win that game.
