Regular Season Round 7: Dynamo-MGTU - Tegas DR 89-81

No shocking result in a game in Maykop where leader Dynamo-MGTU (4-0) defeated 8th ranked Tegas DR (1-7) 89-81. They outrebounded Tegas DR 43-30 including 28 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Artem Gaposhin (185-91) who helped to win the game recording 28 points and 8 assists. Ukrainian center Nikolay Eremin (206-85) contributed with 17 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Four Dynamo-MGTU players scored in double figures. Dynamo-MGTU's coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Forward Ruslan Khakunov (192-90) answered with 35 points (!!!) and 9 rebounds and Stanislav Kravchenko added 14 points in the effort for Tegas DR. Dynamo-MGTU have a solid series of four victories in a row. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Neftekhimik T. Tegas DR lost seventh consecutive game. They keep the eighth position with seven games lost. Dynamo-MGTU will play against league's leader Kirov at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Tegas DR will play against Elbrus Cherk. (#7) in Cherkessk and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
