Bottom-ranked Magnitka-Univ. (0-7) is still winless. This time they lost on the road their seventh consecutive match to sixth ranked Sogdiana-Skif (4-3) 75-64. Sogdiana-Skif forced 19 Magnitka-Univ. turnovers. The winners were led by guard Aleksey Almushev (198-90) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 27 points and 14 rebounds and point guard Dmitriy Prikhodko (185-92) supported him with 15 points, 7 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals. Even 16 points and 4 assists by swingman Yegor Tikanov (194-92) did not help to save the game for Magnitka-Univ.. Alexey Chupin (200-96) added 13 points for the guests. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Sogdiana-Skif moved-up to fifth place. Magnitka-Univ. at the other side still closes the standings with seven games lost. Sogdiana-Skif will again play against bottom-ranked Magnitka-Univ. (#9) in Magnitogorsk in the next round.
