Regular Season Round 7: Izhevsk - Sakhalin 79-92

Superleague top team - Sakhalin (6-0) managed to deliver another win. This time they beat thirteenth ranked Izhevsk (1-7) 92-79. Sakhalin made 16-of-19 charity shots (84.2 percent) during the game. It was a great shooting night for Sakhalin especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 58.8 percentage. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. It was a quality performance for international Aleksandr Gudumak (203-93, agency: Alti Sport) who led the winners and scored 17 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. International power forward Alimdzhan Fedyushin (209-89) accounted for 16 points and 6 rebounds for the winning side. Forward Vladimir Belov (207-84) came up with 22 points and 9 rebounds and power forward Aleksey Tsvetkov (207-84) added 11 points respectively for Izhevsk in the defeat. Four Izhevsk players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The victory was the sixth consecutive win for Sakhalin. Newly promoted Sakhalin maintains first place with 6-0 record. Izhevsk at the other side stay at the bottom position with seven games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
