Superleague B round 14 caused change at the leadership position. Second defeat of league's leader AltajBasket (10-2) against ninth ranked Arsenal (5-9) 74-72 was the most important game of the last round. Arsenal made 16-of-21 free shots (76.2 percent) during the game. Forward Mikhail Yudov (199-89) orchestrated the victory by scoring 19 points. Point guard Viktor Uskov (183-86) contributed with 16 points for the winners. Forward Konstantin Novikov (202-87) replied with 18 points and 6 rebounds and center Vyacheslav Voronchikhin (208-91) added 11 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for AltajBasket. Five AltajBasket players scored in double figures. Arsenal moved-up to eighth place. AltajBasket at the other side dropped to the second position with two games lost. They were replaced at the leadership position by Ruskon-Mord.. AltajBasket will play next round against Tambov trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Arsenal will try to continue on its current victory against fourth ranked Cheboksari on the road.
