Another exciting game was played in Szekesfehervar between fourth ranked Szolnok and 5th ranked Alba where Szolnok (7-2) beat Alba (6-3) on the road 81-70. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Alba. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Alba was ahead by 4 points at the halftime before a 44-29 second half run of Szolnok. It was a good game for international swingman David Vojvoda (196-90) who led his team to a victory with 26 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Serbian forward Strahinja Milosevic (202-85) contributed with 22 points for the winners. The former international Peter Lorant (206-85, agency: Octagon Europe) answered with 18 points and 7 rebounds and Canadian point guard Kenny Chery (180-92, college: Baylor) added 18 points and 4 steals in the effort for Alba. Four Alba players scored in double figures. Szolnok have a solid series of four victories in a row. Defending champion keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Atomeromu and Falco KC. Alba at the other side dropped to the fourth place with three games lost. They share the position with Kormend and ZTE KK. Szolnok will play against league's leader Falco KC in Szombathely in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Alba will play on the road against the league's second-placed Atomeromu in Paks and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
