An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Kursk. Second ranked Rusichi K. faced 4th placed Sogdiana-Skif. Host Rusichi K. (8-2) defeated guests from Voronezh (5-5) 76-70. Rusichi K. forced 36 Sogdiana-Skif turnovers. Strangely Sogdiana-Skif outrebounded Rusichi K. 50-38 including 20 on the offensive glass. The best player for the winners was forward Anton Belov (202-81) who had a double-double by scoring 23 points and 13 rebounds. Guard Nikolay Zavyalov (188-91) chipped in 19 points and 4 assists. Four Rusichi K. players scored in double figures. point guard Dmitriy Prikhodko (185-92) produced a double-double by scoring 16 points, 10 rebounds and 9 assists and guard Aleksey Almushev (198-90) added 21 points and 8 rebounds respectively for the guests. Sogdiana-Skif's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Rusichi K. have an impressive series of eight victories in a row. Newly promoted Rusichi K. maintains second place with 8-2 record having just -2 point less than leader Dynamo-MGTU. Sogdiana-Skif at the other side keeps the fourth position with five games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
