Superleague top team - Sakhalin (8-0) managed to deliver another win on Tuesday. This time they beat tenth ranked Khimky-Podmoskoye (2-6) in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk 80-67. They made 27-of-33 free shots (81.8 percent) during the game. Sakhalin had a 19-8 advantage in offensive rebounds. International Aleksandr Gudumak (203-93, agency: Alti Sport) nailed a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds for the winning side and international point guard Ivan Savelyev (190-87) accounted for 15 points. Five Sakhalin players scored in double figures. Sakhalin's coach used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Swingman Maksim Chislov (198-93, agency: Alti Sport) came up with 17 points and 7 rebounds and forward Denis Levshin (202-93) added 7 points and 7 rebounds respectively for Khimky-Podmoskoye in the defeat. The victory was the eighth consecutive win for Sakhalin. Newly promoted Sakhalin maintains first place with 8-0 record. Khimky-Podmoskoye lost their third game in a row. They keep the tenth position with six games lost. They share it with Irkutsk. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
