Worth to mention about the upset in a game between Samara-SGEU (5-3) and Spartak-Prim. (4-4), which took place in Vladivostok. 4th placed Samara-SGEU was outleveled in a road game by ninth ranked Spartak-Prim. 91-70. They made 21-of-23 charity shots (91.3 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was forward Pavel Aghapov (203-86) who scored 20 points and 9 rebounds. Guard Fedor Klyuchnikov (192-90) chipped in 15 points and 5 assists. Four Spartak-Prim. players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was power forward Maxim Krivosheev (207-88) who recorded a double-double by scoring 18 points and 12 rebounds and swingman Alexander Knyazyuk (197-91, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) added 14 points respectively. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Spartak-Prim. moved-up to sixth place. Samara-SGEU at the other side keeps the fourth position with three games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
